Not my guns...they’re my almost 50 year old G.I. Joe’s guns...I believe the guns are S&W .38 revolvers...

Nice. My big bore AR is similar, but I’ve only set it and its little brother up to run suppressed. Not enough coin to drop on tax stamps and cans yet. Silly me, buying a house first . . . :D

Mine’s an Aero receiver set with a Lilja bbl, UBR stock, and Odin adjustable gas block.

Very nice @Gatordev - PR/7.62 goodness. Thats a paycheck right there. With the can attached do you need ear pro?

Hello one percenter! Even on active duty over 20 I didn't make that much in a pay check. I actually bought the rifle right when Newtown exploded, so there were no deals to be had, but I guess it worked out because it took KAC 2 years before they were pushing out rifles again to the public.

I wouldn't take off my ear pro. It's a SF can, which are known to be a little louder (or at least sound louder, which is different), but the crack is still going to be loud, regardless of can. That said, it's certainly quieter than unsuppressed. Plus it's cool to turn on electronic ear pro and hear the bullet crack down the length of the range until you hear the distant ding.

Lilja. Nice. As for your lack of cans, don't bother us with your poor people problems.

Guns, who needs guns?

Today I landed at Saint Mary’s airfield (2W6) and got an unexpected treat. The mechanic for a very....very wealthy guy showed me his two...not one...but two Harriers!

Just in case he gets bored he can always fly his BD5-J or pretend to be an artillery spotter in his L4.

I am sure the folks at Pax River know him well, but my guess is that he spends more on starting his jet than I spend in six months on fuel!

Very impressive.

Safe to say that Art Nalls is the envy of practically every Harrier pilot in the Marine Corps—past, present, and future—and many, many pilots of other persuasions.

A friend of mine worked with Art back when he was a USMC Captain and said he has always been an iconoclast. As a MIDN he had a world record for riding the world's smallest bike (that he designed and built himself). As a Captain he apparently used to drive in truckloads of Xmas trees and sell them on a corner in his off time.

Two Harriers....that’s a lot of Christmas Trees! Sounds like a great character.

Rumo
A BD-5J?? Crap, if he has survived that then flying Harriers as POVs is child's play.
Rumor has it that he wants to use it as a "cruise missile" target...fly low and fast at Navy ships so they can test their anti-cruise missile stuff.

SMART-1 stands for Small Manned Aerial Radar Target. Not bad work if you can get it.

Hahaha wtf?
HOWABOUTNO! Seriously, how many times has the surface navy shot down something they weren't supposed to shoot down?
