I mean.... you're about to serve your country in the United States Armed Forces... Not to sound grim, but death is a real possibility. You could also die from cancer in 2 months though, a car crash, or a sucker punch from a kangaroo. Why not risk death doing something you have a passion for doing while defending your country?

lol man i'm just asking about the stats. sick hype though.

Dude google 100 sit-up workout and do it for 2 weeks, you only need to do like 50 to hit the minimums, there's no way you won't be able to hit that number if you work at it for even 10 days or so
Ok cool! Any other work out routines you'd recommend. There's room for improvement on my running and pushups too!

If you're shipping for July 1 then for push-ups just do a ton of push-ups, otherwise I'd google a 100 push-up program too. For running, run 5 days a week. 2 days of sprints, 1-2 long easy runs, 1-2 days of 3-4 miles at a decent pace, that's what I do anyways

Take this with a grain of salt, but my friend who ships in a couple weeks heard from our OR that theyre tightening up the standards at OCS. Apparently if you fail the run you get one more chance and if you fail it again you're getting dropped. Not sure if that second chance is 3 weeks later with another class or if it's a couple days later, but I would put all your efforts into making sure you can pass the run even on a bad day!

That's always been the standard at OCS.

I hope it's 3 weeks later, I'm not sure I have enough time to pass it the first time, and that immediately after would be disastrous.
