More than likely will be a no-go. You weren't eligible when you joined the Navy at 29 and once again being 32 with some enlisted time.

I appreciate this response RUFiO181.
I believe you will be of great help as I travel along in this journey.

Here is what I have got.

OAR 51
Electronic/Electrical engineering Gpa 2.93
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Currently doing my masters in ICT security major. my first two courses so far are outstanding. 3.99
Work Centre suppervisor
Lay leader
DCPO
Sailor of the Week.
Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS)

Rate. EM2

With these in mind, I am considering IP and PAO.

Please do you think those stack will be a catch the community above.

Sincerely,

EM2 Bamgbose.

Since you are an EM and not a MC you may as well look at something else besides PAO, your chances of getting PAO are non-existent, try IW

Thank you NavyOffRec. I will work on that.
I also forgot to add that I was the best graduating student in BECC in A-School,
also the best graduating student in 9-C electrical strand A-School
and I am 32 years old now.

Those are nice to hang on the wall but really don't play into officer selections.

Noted Sir. thanks.
Much thanks RUFiO181.
So sorry for all the troubles. This is just coming in, i just had my clearance page checked for the OCS package. Chief in charge typed on security clearance page 5 OPM as the clearance agency and the type of clearance i guess is NACIL according to what he told me this morning.

here is my Question.

Do i need top security clearance to go Intel/IP/IW? and if I do, is it after the selection is done or before the selection?
According to Chief this morning, he said it should be after I am selected.

I look forward to your response.

thanks.

Team,

The program authorization has changed for Supply. Two big changes:

- MIN GPA is now a 2.8 vice 2.5
- MIN OAR score is now a 40 vice 35

All other reqs (29 max age, waiverable to 31+ for prior or active, STEM/business majors) remain unchanged.

Quick question: In what context does vice mean? I have a GPA of 3.63 but an OAR score of 39 on my first attempt, does this mean I’m not eligible for selection? Naturally, I would consider improving my score to be more competitive
