What happened to my post count/reputation?

Ok, I have been inundated with private messages regarding post count and reputation.

POST COUNT: After some in depth discussion with the moderators, I went ahead and turned off the post count (increase) for posts in: MISC, CURRENT NEWS, and WAR ZONE. After that, I had the forum recompute everyone's post count, and a number of ppl had their post counts reduced, some drastically. I myself "lost" 300 posts.

REPUTATION: I am looking to do the same thing with reputation, ie it won't be enabled in those forums as well. I have yet to set that up, but that is coming. I noticed some problems with the way the rep point totals were being handled, so I had the forum recompute them, and now you have your "true" rep points. I also looked at the master list of rep points, and I deleted quite a few that were spurrious, like:

"your cute", "here's some rep points since you drink" blah blah blah

So, for those that PM me, this the reason why, I don't have time to respond to all of you, sorry.

Yea man, where the **** did my post count go? I went from like 1,800 down to 350+. Come now, my child.....350 posts since 2000. I think not....and that's with my deployments thrown in there! Fix this **** or I'll have you working 20 hour days instead of your comfy 18.
