I was PROREC-Y for NFO, with a 54 on the OAR and 6/6/7, but wanted to see if I could do better on the test, and maybe get PROREC-Y for SNA, This time i made it out with 52 6/7/7. Any advice on whether or not i should just accept the NFO offer, or if I should commit to reapplying?

Take that NFO contract offer. There’ll NEVER be anything like that handed to you again. Otherwise, you’ll miss out and live to regret refusing the opportunity.

Take the money and run! Also I’m pretty sure they will see if you go for other boards that you turned down NFO which will not go over well. Your first set of scores qualified you for SNA did you not put it as a choice or did you put SNA/SNFO and they selected you for SNFO?

Why did you apply NFO if you have doubts about serving? You’re going to shoot your foot big time declining a commission.

- You should have put SNA, man. I got SNA with lower scores than yours, 5/7/6. Talk to your OR to reapply. I have been told by a commander nobody is gonna hold grudges against you if you don’t want NFO. Long story short, if you can’t live driving back seat, then simply don’t take it.

Got a text from my recruiter today.

She doesn’t have an actual shipout date for me as of yet but directed me to my packet processor. So, I sent him an inquiry email.

Still anticipating next month or early November most expeditiously.
