Talk about setting THE example for how such interviews should go regarding issues of national security!

An 'admirable Admiral', who you would not want to be on the wrong side of...imagine the fate of some hoodlum mugger who went after this man on a dark night...priceless!

Best quote from the article (wrt leaks):
"Sooner or later it is going to cost people their lives, or its going to cost us our national security."

Here is more than probably ever wanted to know about the military identification badges:

Description with a few examples: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identification_badges_of_the_United_States_military

List of identification badges you can wear in the Navy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Badges_of_the_United_States_Navy#Identification

Have you ever seen anyone with the Navy marksmanship badge? I Cant say I've ever heard of that those before, but it would definitely be some cool bling to wear.

Yes. They aren't common and you have to be a good shooter. You earn EIC (excellence in competition) points (legs) in various matches throughout the year. Some are the east and west coast coast matches, followed by All-Navy matches, and Camp Perry, to name the more common ones.

You get a bronze, silver, or gold badge based on your shooting place in those matches. Then, you have to earn a total of 30 points off of the badges you've earned to earn your distinguished.

There are more details but that's the overall gist of earning those badges.

More info here. http://www.usnst.org/awards.htm

I'm not sure exactly what makes presumably straight men (hell even self respecting gay dudes) think something like this is anything other than stupid? If you're going to make "cruise" videos, at least be either funny or creative. Choreographed lip syncing to pop music fulfills neither requirement.
