Ridiculous is squatting over a hole in the ground and wiping your ass with your bare hand and using a little bit of water to rinse off. The first time I saw a public restroom in Kuwait that had what looked like a vegetable sprayer next to the toilet, I couldn't stop laughing. I'll take shitty European plumbing over that any day of the week.

Sorry. They allot approximately 1.2 cubic centimeters of water to poop into. Then the toilet flushes with the ferocity of the North Shore, so they're definitely unconcerned about saving water.
