The weird part was that I also had to interview with a Captain who just so happened to be the CO of VT-6 when I was in the squadron and DOR'd. Awkward. I don't think he remembered me though and I didn't bring it up.

Seems like only yesterday he was Gary R. Roughead, Captain United States Navy, Commandant of Midshipmen.

Mr. Midshipman Fester had a close encounter, and had to explain why he was such a hopeless fuckup and wouldn't be one no mo'. The 'Dant took pity.

Not the liveliest guy ever, but he gave me another shot when I probably didn't deserve one.
