I don't believe it was/or will be, although it should. That is the unfortunate double standard we find ourselves facing.
Same reason nothing will happen to the California Senator guilty of having a relationship with a Chinese spy. If the shoe was on the other foot, CNN and MSNBC would be talking about it until said Senator was escorted out of DC.

What did the actual leadership and employees of social media companies do to be an 'active participant with unchecked power?' What would you have done differently if you had a key leadership position at Facebook or Twitter?
Many if not all states have a civics class in their high school curriculum.
Not silencing the New York Post and anyone else who dared to mention Hunter Biden in a negative light would have been a good start.
I would love to hear the answer to this as well.
For the sake of discussion, I'll just use the label "riot that went really badly", since we apparently can't agree on that one without getting off topic.....and I think we can all agree that at least that much is true.
Do any of you think that a retiree, who illegally broke into our nation's Capitol building, while suited up in tactical gear with zip ties in hand during a riot, deserves to receive a federal taxpayer funded pension?
I do not. I'd feel the same way if we were talking about a retired officer who did the same thing at a courthouse, or a police station or associated with Antifa. Just to be clear.

There are many things in the world that happen without precedent. Last year, this election, etc. I think what you are really asking is whether there are legal grounds for that to happen, or if there is a legal precedent to support that interpretation of existing law? I will leave that to the courts to decide. I get that you don't feel this was an attack on the federal government.....which is another thing that ultimately the courts and evidence will hopefully clarify. But this:
